Miss Kirstin has been dancing since the age of 2 ½ in the disciplines of Jazz, Highland, Tap, Modern, Ballet and Freestyle. Trained at her local British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) school she loved what she was doing and was successful too. She was regularly nominated for national scholarships where she competed against other top dancers from around the country in the styles of Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Freestyle. She also has a wealth of performance experience in theatres around Glasgow and the surrounding areas including The Mitchell Theatre, The Clyde Auditorium, The Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock, The Barrfields Theatre, Largs and The Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling.
Miss Kirstin continues to perform now with the Alba Ballet Company, Greenock. Having completed performances of Coppelia
in November 2018 and performances as The Supgar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker
in November 2022.
Having qualified as a teacher in 2016, Miss Kirstin opened En Pointe Dance Academy in 2017 with the hopes of passing on her knowledge and skills to the next generation of aspiring performers.
